    Conveyor Idlers

    Jackdown Impact Idlers

BBCP jackdown impact idler frames are engineered and fabricated to exceed industry standards and/or customer specifications. Manufacturing techniques include CNC laser cutters and robotic welding. The combination of high-tech manufacturing equipment, AS1554.1 SP welding and our high-quality management/assurance systems ensures all jackdown impact idler frames set a benchmark for tolerance and quality levels.

BBCP jackdown impact idlers are designed to be used in impact zones or other areas where the conveyor skirts limit the movement of the belt to allow roller maintenance. They allow safer and more efficient roller changeouts by enabling the idler frame to be lowered, using hydraulic cylinders, away from the belt. They are available in 3-roll or 5-roll, single-frame or double-frame configurations, and can be supplied with different roller width configurations – e.g. different centre roller width to the wing rollers. Jackdown impact idler frames are typically used to house impact rollers but can be used to house standard rollers – e.g. anywhere that skirting/hungry boards/etc. impede the upwards belt movement.

BBCP jackdown impact idler frames are supplied galvanised as standard, with powder coated frames available if required. They are available to suit belt widths from 450mm up to 3000mm and can be designed and supplied to suit any belt width or roller configuration. A variety of idler frame types and sizes are held in stock. Contact us for more information.
