Composite Wind Guards

BBCP Composite Wind Guards are fitted along a conveyor system to shield the belt from the adverse effects of wind, whilst also providing a moderate guarding effect on the roller pinch points. Our Composite Wind Guards are ideal in any windy location, especially in corrosive environments such as wet areas and coastal/marine locations (wharf belts, etc.).

 

Other specific applications include around conveyor tramp metal magnets and discriminators, and on trippers where the belt can lift above the rollers in the transition area and be damaged by steel wind guards.

UltraRoll

BBCP UltraRoll rollers are our lightweight composite rollers that provide high performance and durability using cutting edge polymer technology with high-precision manufacturing techniques.

 

UltraRoll rollers are specially designed to dissipate heat during operation. They are up to 60% lighter than conventional steel rollers, with the reduced rotating mass providing tangible reductions in conveyor demand power. UltraRoll rollers also provide an average 10dB reduction in noise emissions in comparison to steel rollers.

 

Suitable for heavy-duty, high speed, corrosive and/or abrasive applications, in materials handling applications ranging from the smallest quarries up to major mining operations (iron ore, hard rock, black coal, etc.).

Extended-Life Poly P Tip

BBCP were pleased to be able to demonstrate our flexibility and responsiveness when assisting a client’s belt cleaning issues. Due to the nature of the application using a ceramic belt, metalliferous tips were not suitable and poly tips were wearing quickly. Our design team stepped up to the plate and designed an Extended-Life poly tip, which was Australian Made in our Sydney facility.

 

Our response time and local manufacturing allowed the Extended-Life tips to quickly go into operation where they lasted over three times longer than the standard poly tips, immediately reducing the client’s materials handling costs.
