Poly Primary Pre Cleaners

The BBCP Poly Pre Cleaner is designed to be positioned on a head or tripper pulley. It is typically referred to as a “primary” cleaner, as it is the first cleaner after the material discharge point. The cleaner comprises a pair of side assemblies, a pole, and a series of poly blades which are 165mm wide. Poly Pre Cleaners can handle mechanical splices and recessed belt clips, and are able to handle reversing belt applications, however they will not clean the reversing belt.
Torsion is applied to the pole via a pair of springs & torque arms. Tension is stored in the springs and in the poly blades, which are in contact with the conveyor belt surface. Two types of springs are available – black or gold, which provide different tension loads to suit different belt cleaning demands.
Available in all sizes to suit your belt width, in stainless or mild steel, the BBCP Poly Pre Cleaner will satisfy your cleaning needs.
Segmented Blades
The Poly Pre Cleaner comprises individual 165mm polyurethane blades, each mounted on the steel pole, guaranteeing maximum cleaning performance.
Polyurethane
The unique “Bubble Back” profile creates a varying attack angle and maintains a sharp cleaning edge as the blade wears.
Our urethane formulation and hardness provide the cleaning power of a metal blade.
Blades are easily retrofitted to other brand cleaners.
Optimal Position
The Poly Pre Cleaner is positioned on the discharge pulley and sits out of the material flow, ensuring high cleaning performance, whilst ensuring the cleaner does not become bogged in material.
Available in Mild steel or Stainless steel and suitable for reversing conveyors.
