Autonomous Tensioning System

Belle Banne Conveyor Products are proud to offer an industry-leading Autonomous Tensioning System. The ATS, for belt cleaners, is a closed-loop hydraulic system that optimises the performance of our belt cleaners, minimising maintenance requirements and maximising belt cleaning efficiency over the life of the tungsten tips.

The ATS system uses gravity and a closed-loop hydraulic circuit to transmit a constant, calibrated force into the cleaners’ tensioning mechanisms.  Unlike other automatic tensioners, no external power is required to power the ATS – it is a complete standalone unit.

Frequent access to the scrapers for periodic adjustment and inspection is not required, making the system ideal for inaccessible belt cleaner locations (e.g.: balanced machine head chutes, and conveyor shuttles).

Once installed, the ATS ensures that sites can optimise their belt cleaners’ maintenance, consumable wear, and system reliability.
